So, the fast, slow, or default zombie settings, the vehicle collision damage, and the weak vehicles options, all break the zombie changes and some missions. The zombie speed changes break many missions, remove added zombie behaviors, and the associated lua files change zombie characteristics that have been modified. Just because it does not crash immediately doesn't mean that it is working correctly. but that means that you either are simply not aware that things are not working, or that you don't know how they are supposed to be working in the mod. There are no files in the mod which are not there for a specific reason, so replacing any of them will cause problems. While creating noise does draw in the surrounding zombies, what OP is asking is whether there are mods that increase the overall population of zombies. It's all explained via a ReadMe, and on the mod's page, anyhow. Just extract the desired effects into the 'Game' folder and start a new game. It has plenty of options to add, remove, alter certain aspects of the game (and the amount of zombies and how they behave, including a "Hell" and "Dread" mode which I haven't looked into, but they sound fun lol).
